-Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis) - birds, part shade to shade, planted in front yard
-Red Maple (Acer rubrum) - Large tree in front yard, smaller trees along ditch
-Saw Palmetto (serenoa repens) - back corner of yard
-Silver Saw Palmetto (serenoa repens) - saw palmetto variety, two in front yard
-Muhlygrass (Muhlenbergia capillaris) - front yard
-Yaupon holly (Ilex vomitoria) - planted in back corner of yard, red berry
-Dahoon holly (Ilex cassine) - planted in back corner of yard
- 'Little Gem' Southern Magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora)
-Arrow-wood (Viburnum dentatum) - shrub, bluebird*, 3 planted by ditch 6-8 ft tall, shade to sun, moist soil
-Spicebush (Lindera benzoin) - for butterflies/birds, 6-12 ft
-Crabapple (Malus angustifolia) - for mammals, part-shade, moist, give plenty of space 12-36 ft, spreads out, full sun

NON-NATIVE
-Firespike (Odontonema cuspidatum) - have in yard by porch, propagated easily by cuttings/division, no seeds?
-Bigleaf Hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla) - cuttings from softwood/semi-hardwood, blooms in summer
-Brazilian plume (Justicia spp.) - next to the firespike along the back porch.
